Social Marketing Campaign

Akawe Anishinaabewanjigen:
Eat Traditional Foods

This social marketing campaign has been running since 2024? With the intent to create space for community stories to shine. Through seasonal food topics, traditional activities, and wellness practices, our social marketing campaign shares the teachings, memories, and lived experiences of Leech Lake Band members. By gathering photos and videos from the community, we honor the foods, movements, and practices that have carried our people through generations. Each story encourages others to reconnect, learn, and take part in these ceremonies.
